Privacy policy

Swamy Saranam is a free devotional service for Ayyappa devotees at swamysaranam.com. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep and why.

What we collect

• Your phone number, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
• The details you choose to add: your name, city, photo, profile details, listings, forum posts and requests.
• The place you pick (or your device location, only if you allow it), used to show temples, guruswamis and services near you.

How we use it

Only to run the service: to show you relevant information, connect you with guruswamis, temples and seva teams, and send you reminders and notices you asked for. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

What others can see

Listings you add (such as a bhajan mandali or padayatra group) and forum posts are public. Contact numbers you enter there are shown only inside the app, never on this website. Your sign-in phone number is not shown on your forum posts.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings and posts at any time. To delete your account, see Delete your account. To ask what we hold about you, contact us using the details below.
